The roulette was probably invented in the mid-17th century by the great French scientist Pascal, who is also the founder of the Theory of Probability. History mentions that one night in 1657 Pascal was suffering from a toothache and in an effort to take him mind off the pain, he focused on a mathematical problem that would concern mathematicians since the time of Galileo. He defined the solution of the equation with the curve traced by a point on the circumference of a rolling circle, as it goes up and falls back again. This is how he invented the roulette.

As the queen of gambling, the roulette excites the players and rewards him to the maximum each time the ball stops at the luck number.

The goals of the game is to guess the pocket in which the ball will fall after each spinning of the wheel.

The European Roulette has 37 numbers, from 0 to 36. Each number has a color, zero is green and the rest are divided into 18 reds and 18 blacks.

For numbers 1 to 10 and 19 to 28, odds are red and evens are black. For numbers 11 to 18 and 29 to 36, odds are black and evens are red. In addition the European/French roulette also contains a green pocket for the number 0.

The position of each number is set in the same way for every roulette in the world and their fixed sequence (clockwise) is this, (European/French roulette):
